As preface to this important realization, please refer to the previous blog entry detailing why the Feast of Trumpets/ Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah represents the Rapture of those whom belong to the Lord Jesus Christ:
According to NASA ,the beginning of the phase of the new moon began September 8, 2010. The Gregorian calendar thus has the two day feast of Rosh Hashanah dated to be on September 8-9, 2010.
Biblically, the Feast of Rosh Hashanah begins when the new moon was sighted by two witnesses, who then report the sighting to the Sandhedrin.
When two persons saw the new moon they would come to the Jewish High Court and give testimony that they had seen the moon.
This did not mean that the court did not know when the moon was scheduled to appear, but rather that the sanctification of the moon had to be made according to eyewitness reports.
The court would question the witnesses to ascertain that they indeed did see the moon. Afterwards, the court proclaimed that a new month had begun.
Just today, the new moon was finally sighted by two witnesses at sunset Friday, September 10th, Jerusalem time. Therefore, it was sighted just as the weekly Shabbat (Sabbath) was commencing.
No work is allowed on the Sabbath and the carrying of shofars is considered work. It therefore, is important to realize that if the Feast of Trumpets falls on a Sabbath that no shofars will be blown.
Instead, the shofars will be blown on the second day of the Feast of Trumpets.
According to Biblical dictate, Jewish custom and the actual visualization of the new moon by two witnesses, the first day of this year's Feast of Trumpets is in process at present.
Since it began at Sabbath, no shofars are to be blown until the second day of the feast.
The second day of Rosh Hashanah will begin at sunset in Jerusalem on Saturday, September 11th.
The second day of Rosh Hashanah will begin at sunset in Jerusalem on Saturday, September 11th.
This is equivalent to 10:51 a.m.(CST) on September 11, 2010 for Americans.
At that time, the second day of Rosh Hashanah begins and the shofars will be able to sound.
From Scripture, we know that the Rapture will be accompanied by the blowing of trumpets/shofars:
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
As such, many indicators, appears to point to the possibility that the timing of the Rapture may occur on the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
Those who are focused on the living Christ, may soon meet the Lord in the air, when the great shofar sounds!
1 Thes 4:15-18 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Notable is the fact that even if we had been told that the Rapture would occur on Yom Teruah 2010, we still could have not known the day or the hour because of the difference in time zones as well as the delayed sighting of the new moon.
As we appear to be nearing the return of Christ, may we prepare and examine ourselves, making sure we have truly repentant and forgiving hearts, with our focus fully on our Savior!!
Even so come Lord Jesus, Yeshua Ha Mashiach!
wow, thank you very much for this up-to-date info!
ReplyDeletei love the way G-d always gives us hope and new insights! i am smiling.....Maranatha<3
they said trumpets are blown worldwide at 7PM pacific time?
ReplyDeleteI wish he was coming Sept.11, but he's not...to many things have to happen before he comes and they haven't been fulfilled yet. God Bless and Hurry oh Lord come quick!
ReplyDeleteNavy Diver,
ReplyDeleteFrom my calculations, that would be around 0100 Jerusalem time on the 12th which will be the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
In the Jewish wedding, which represents the coming of Jesus for His bride, the groom would come at nighttime, around midnight to fetch the bride.
Sounds like it could be a likely time to me!!
Everything would have to based upon God's Holy City, Jerusalem's time.
We may be soon seeing our Savior's radiant face!
Hello Fellow Pre-Tribers,
ReplyDeleteThere is still hope. We have a few hours left. If Monday comes and we are still here, then I will focus on the actual date of the start of the Tribulation (aka: Daniel's 70th week) based on the hypothesis of Dewey Bruton. Watch his 12 videos on YouTube. I have no association with him, for the record. The link is “Daniels Timeline - Part 1 of 12 - Understanding End Time Prophecy/Tribulation Period". At least I will have the exact times to the day and hour when our CHRIST comes if we are still here when the tribulation starts.

We have a teachable moment (if fleeting) to tell the story of Shofar. Its influence on prayer and its historical antecedents going back to the Temple sacrifices.

ReplyDeleteStop looking for what isn't there to see and start learning from what is. Read the Bible.
best regards
I was walking down my hallway a few weeks ago and the lord spoke to me. I heard "dinners almost ready". I was stunned, all I could think about was the ones that would be left behind! I was so heart broken. Than a few days later the same thing happend in the same place! I really believe were close very very close!
ReplyDeleteI believe that the Rapture will take place around 12:00 Midnight. Last week I had a vision of a huge cloud in the sky, it very large.
ReplyDeleteWhen Christ rose from the dead on the third day, it was around the hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
Matthew says it is at the door. We are to be watchmen and looking up. We should forgive one another, love one another and seek the Lord in all things.
Love your neighbor as yourself is the Golden Rule.
Read your bible and be ever watchful at all times. No man knows the day or the hour, not the angels, not even the son, but God.

If I am incorrect, according to what all the facts seem to pointing towards, I fear that we may have some tough times soon to come as the Tribulation groundwork is in place.
ReplyDeleteThere are many factors that point to 2017 (2018 at the latest) for the Second Coming.
We are therefore very close to the time for the start of the 7 year Tribulation.
May we all pray that we be counted worthy to escape the wrath to come and to stand before our Savior!
As always, reading God's Word is how we stay strong!!
I hope the Lord Almighty comes tonight to take us away as He has promised. All we can do is be in prayer and stay watchful. God Bless you all.
ReplyDeleteYesterday my 3 year old Son told his sister that Jesus was going to put him on His back and take him to the sky. We were all in awe and wondered does he know something we don't?

Thank you for this Blog post! I have shared it with everyone I know. I have written much about the coming of this time in history and it would be awesome if Yahshua came for us tonight. But if not, we still have hope that 2011 thru 2017 is the appointed time for the Tribulation and that the Rapture is imminent.
ReplyDeleteThe Signs in the Heavens on the first day of the Feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles on September 22nd, 2010 still holds much promise. Please see my new article about this on my POEM Ministry Blog here:
http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/prophecy-in-stone-at-giza-time-clock.html
If not then, however, there are many other hopeful signs coming up from 2011 thru 2015. So stay tuned and keep looking up!
God bless you all and Maranatha!

I believe the bride of Christ will hear a cry (not a trumpet) consistent with the virgin parable of Matthew 25. If we are early, this is still a great dress rehearsal for every watcher. Jesus bless all of you.
ReplyDeleteAccording to your article, the second day of Rosh Hashanah started at 10:51 am (CST) on 9/11. This means that the second day ends on 9/12 at sunset in Jerusalem, which will be at 10:49 (CST). Currently, there is 15 hours remaining before the Feast of Trumpets 2010 is no longer the possible date for the Rapture this year... I just state this to remind people to keep looking up, as the angels in Acts 1:11 said, "this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
ReplyDeleteHelena,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and I am excited about reading your information as well!
We can see that 2017(2018 at the latest)would have to be the Second Coming. Therefore, we can take heart that our redemption is SOON!
Peter, your comment that "this is still a great dress rehearsal for every watcher" is so true!
We will continue to watch no matter what!
We still have almost 13 hours left until the end of Rosh Hashanah. The Lord could even come at the very last second.
So,as James said, we need to keep looking up!
Blessings to you all my brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ!!

DeleteAnybody there????
ReplyDeleteLol!!!
Im not gonna lie, Im sad we haven't been taken yet. I thought the feast of Shavuot (Pentecost) was going to be our going home date.
ReplyDeleteBut at the same time Im glad we might have another year to reach others and preach the word.
So as Paul said "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.
I'm wondering and reconsidering my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteTribulation is not necessarily the same as the Wrath of God. Could it be that the Tribulation happens first, then the rapture (+second coming of Jesus), and only after that the Wrath of God will be poured out on the remaining unbelievers?
Just remember, as it didn't happen, that "...no man knows the day or the hour..."
ReplyDeleteSeeing that the feast of trumpets according to the ancient
ReplyDeleteJewish customs literally concurs and speaks of the rapture
event, one must remember that the Hebrew word for signs (Gen
1:14) is "oth"...
...and it means to "signal his appearing", as well as a
"marker" This feast of trumpets, if He does not come ON the
feast, fulfilling what He did 4 times in a row with the
previous feasts...
...could also be a SIGNAL to His soon return or appearing, a
MARK so to speak. Meaning we are in the period where the
virgins expected His coming.... but He delayed... and CAME at
midnight!
The virgins of Matt. 25 speaks of the time frame BEFORE the
rapture event.. how they waited, He delayed, and how they got
complacent... and 1 Thes 4:16-18 and 1 Cor 15:51-53 describes
the actual rapture event taking place.
This therefor is the most important time to be watching and
listening for the SHOUT and Trumpet Call!
God Bless!

Am I the only one considering Yom Kippur (where tumps are blown too), scheduled for 18th of Sept. 2010 as another interesting date? It actually ends a 40 days repentence period and is considered the "most holy day per year" in the entire jewish calendar.
ReplyDeleteGreetings in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Fellow watchers, let us consider everyday will be a Rapture Day!!!Keep watching & praying...and oil burning!!!We will be going there soon!!! God Bless us fellow watchers...
ReplyDeleteThe qualification to be included in the rapture is being Holy...
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised to see anyone still using "Dr." Thomas Ice as an authority. His so-called "Ph.D" came from a tiny Texas school that was fined by the state of Texas for illegally issuing degrees (Google "America's Pretrib Rapture Traffickers")! And Google "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)" which reveals that he somehow left out a collective total of 49 words when he reproduced Margaret Macdonald's 1830 revelation - the same 49 words in the same places that Tim LaHaye omitted when it reproduced it three years later! Ice also had four copying errors that Hal Lindsey had when he had reproduced it three years before Ice did! (So-called prophecy experts habitually (mis)copy each other, warts and all, instead of doing their own research!) Also Google "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Deceiving and Being Deceived" by Dave MacPherson, and (the most shocking) "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty." Now you know why many these days are swapping pretrib for midtrib, prewrath, or posttrib!
ReplyDelete(Saw the preceding web item just now!)
'the balfour century' is the key. Couple that with 70 weeks determined upon thy people and thy holy city, and after 2 days he will raise us up and on third day w shall 'live in his sight' ... go figure
