"Today's top headline on the Fox News website confirms that my first instinct was correct. It reads "Israeli Envoy: U.S. Ties in 'Crisis of Historic Proportions'".


Before we get into the meat of the Fox News story, let's review what Scripture makes clear concerning our absolute need to be a blessing to the nation of Israel if we wish to be blessed by God.

Genesis 12:3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

God's Word couldn't be any plainer than it is, could it? Bless Israel and you'll be blessed by God. Curse Israel and you'll be cursed! (I guess the Obama administration didn't get the memo.) "

According to the Fox News article, Israeli Ambassdor to the United States Michael Oren told Israeli diplomats in a phone briefing over the weekend, "Israel's ties with the United States are in their worst crisis since 1975 ... a crisis of historic proportions."

Israel Will Build in All Parts of Jerusalem, Netanyahu Says:

Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton both chastised and demeaned Israel because it plans "to build 1,600 new housing units for ultra-orthodox Jews in Ramat Shlomo, a part of east Jerusalem".
 
This is Israel's capital city and it belongs to them and they have the right to build whatever they want, whenever they want and wherever they want. Inasmuch that America has these exact same rights to build in her capital city, Washington D.C.
 
The reason that our dignitaries, Biden and Clinton, heavily condemned and rebuked Israel for her plans to rightfully build in her captial city is because they plan to divide Jerusalem. There would be no other reason for them to be concerned about these plans, let alone incensed!
 
Their goal is to divide Jerusalem with the Palestinians. Therefore, they do not want any further Israeli "occupation" of the intended "give away". They intend on giving East Jerusalem to the Palestinians as part of their "two-state" solution.
 
God will not allow mere men to give away His Holy City that He gave only unto the children of Israel. Our government is thus asking for God's wrath to be poured out upon America.
 
Zechariah 12:3: And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

America has been so richly blessed because of our "big brother" type relationship with Israel. We have become like the harlot, Babylon with the sins that are streaming from our shores. Our only saving grace has been our special defender position with Israel. If we abandon her, we will not only lose God's favor and His protection, but we will be judged because God is a righteous judge who demands righteousness.

Revelation 18:3... For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.



Jeremiah 51:7 - Babylon hath been a golden cup in YHWH's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.


Jeremiah 51:9 - We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

It is time for all who are saved by the blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach to come out of "Babylon". It is time to "wash" ourselves and abandon the many distractions of this world that separate us from true worship and relationship with the Lord Most High. 

Revelation 18:4 - And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

We do not want to be found lukewarm when He comes as He forewarned us that He will vomit the lukewarm church out of His mouth. This verse has seemingly been ignored or looked over by many in the church who give much/most of their time, devotion and resources to the pursuit of worldly pleasures and recreation.
 
Revelation 3:16 So then, because you are LUKEWARM, and neither cold nor hot,I will vomit you out of My mouth
 
The enemy has blinded so many believers into thinking that since they are not sinning as the" lost" sin (drunkedness, fornication, pornography, etc. ) that they are blameless and righteous in His sight. Jesus warns of this blindness and tells us "anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see."
 
Revelation 3 18:I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
 
Not giving God the priorty He deserves and demands IS SIN!

Jesus told us that the FIRST AND GREATEST commandment is to :"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind".

It is vital that we reflect on the activities in our lives to see if we are  indeed consumed by God in our heart, soul, and mind.

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).

We need to step back and take an account of how much of our time and energy is spent on "the works of our hands", considering the vast supply of electronics and technological gadgets at our disposal (cell phones with text messaging ,video games, computer, ipods, etc.).

What activites/recreation/fun do we while away a majority of our time doing? The enemy doesn't care if he acquires men's souls by rampant sin or just by apathy and distraction. If he can get God's people to fill their minds and time with the "fluff" of this world, then the Spirit's lead and calling will be muffled to the point of deafness. Either way, the roaring lion wins!

Isaiah 2:8 Their land is full of idols; the people worship things they have made with their own hands.

The creator God is a jealous God and we need to give Him total priorty. We need to self-examine to determine where our treasure truly lies, as that is where our "heart will be also be".
 
Luke 12:34 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
 
The best way to evaluate our priorties is to determine where, to what, to whom, do we devote the most time, energy and the most money. If we cannot say unequivocally that the Lord and the work of the Kingdom comes first and foremost in all categories, then it is time to loosen our grip on the enticements of this world and instead tighten our grasp onto the Lord God and things eternal.
 
There is in fact an assurance of protection for those who heed the command to "come out of Babylon". This should also be incentive for the children of God to separate from the temporal in these Last Days in which we are living.
 
A Command To Leave Babylon

11Leave the city of Babylon! Don't touch anything filthy. Wash yourselves. Be ready to carry back everything sacred that belongs to the LORD. 12You won't need to run. No one is chasing you. The LORD God of Israel will lead and protect you from enemy attacks.

It is now time to come out of Babylon and anoint our eyes so we may see. Jesus mercifully gave us the signs of His coming so that we will not be overtaken as by a thief in the night. Seeing the many signs coming to pass before our very eyes should incite us to open our spiritual eyes and look toward things eternal while forsaking the temporal, as the hour is late.

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

As much as I hate to say it, Obamacare WILL be rammed through as we are in the end times and it provides the pathway to the prophesied mark of the beast and a one world government.

"In our Bible, we read the Hebrew names. What do these names mean in English?

A Study of Original Roots

The meaning of proper names can be a difficult pursuit since a direct translation is often not readily available. Even a conventional Hebrew lexicon can prove disappointing. A study of the original roots, however, can yield some fascinating insights.

(A caveat: many study aids, such as a conventional lexicon, can prove rather superficial when dealing with proper nouns. Furthermore, views concerning the meanings of original roots are not free of controversy and variant readings.)

Let's take an example.

The Flood Judgment

Methuselah comes from muth, a root that means "death";1 and from shalach, which means to bring, or to send forth. The name Methuselah means, "his death shall bring".2

Methuselah's father was given a prophecy of the coming Great Flood, and was apparently told that as long as his son was alive, the judgment of the flood would be withheld; but as soon as he died, the flood would be brought or sent forth.

(Can you imagine raising a kid like that? Every time the boy caught a cold, the entire neighborhood must have panicked!)

And, indeed, the year that Methuselah died, the flood came.3

It is interesting that Methuselah's life, in effect, was a symbol of God's mercy in forestalling the coming judgment of the flood.

Therefore, it is fitting that his lifetime is the oldest in the Bible, speaking of the extensiveness of God's mercy.

The Other Names

If there is such significance in Methuselah's name, let's examine the other names to see what may lie behind them.

Adam's name means man. As the first man, that seems straight forward enough.

Seth

Adam's son was named Seth, which means appointed. Eve said, "For God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."4

Enosh

Seth's son was called Enosh, which means mortal, frail, or miserable. It is from the root anash, to be incurable, used of a wound, grief, woe, sickness, or wickedness.

It was in the days of Enosh that men began to defile the name of the Living God.

Kenan

Enosh's son was named Kenan, which can mean sorrow, dirge, or elegy. (The precise denotation is somewhat elusive; some study aids unfortunately presume that Kenan is synonymous with Cainan.)

Balaam, looking down from the heights of Moab, uses a pun upon the name of the Kenites when he prophesies their destruction.6

We have no real idea as to why these names were chosen for their children. Often they may have referred to circumstances at birth, and so on.

Mahalalel

Kenan's son was Mahalalel, from Mahalal which means blessed or praise; and El, the name for God. Thus, Mahalalel means the Blessed God. Often Hebrew names include El, the name of God, as Dan-i-el, "God is my Judge", etc.

Jared

Mahalalel's son was named Jared, from the verb yaradh, meaning shall come down.7

Enoch

Jared's son was named Enoch, which means teaching, or commencement. He was the first of four generations of preachers. In fact, the earliest recorded prophecy was by Enoch, which amazingly enough deals with the Second Coming of Christ (although it is quoted in the Book of Jude in the New Testament):

Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, "Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against."

Jude 14, 15

Methuselah

Enoch was the father of Methuselah, who we have already mentioned. Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah.8 Apparently, Enoch received the prophecy of the Great Flood, and was told that as long as his son was alive, the judgment of the flood would be withheld. The year that Methuselah died, the flood came.

Enoch, of course, never died: he was translated 9 (or, if you'll excuse the expression, raptured ). That's how Methuselah can be the oldest man in the Bible, yet he died before his father!

Lamech

Methuselah's son was named Lamech, a root still evident today in our own English word, lament or lamentation. Lamech suggests despairing.

(This name is also linked to the Lamech in Cain's line who inadvertently killed his son Tubal-Cain in a hunting incident.10)

Noah

Lamech, of course, is the father of Noah, which is derived from nacham, to bring relief or comfort, as Lamech himself explains in Genesis 5:29.

The big quakes continue on!  The public at large is not getting the whole picture because only the destructive earthquakes are being relayed via the news media.Very high magnitude quakes are still occuring but since they are low/no damage they are not being reported.

NEW MADRID IS DUE/OVERDUE FOR MODERATE SIZED QUAKE:

When it shook for three months in 1811-12, this was the western frontier, and the population was sparse. If it shook with that magnitude again, the devastation would make Hurricane Katrina look "like a Sunday School picnic."

"The New Madrid fault system is a series of faults several miles below the surface.""Suggesting these are just aftershocks and therefore (the New Madrid fault) is dead doesn't follow," says Susan Hough of the USGS. We have a seismic zone that produces earthquake clusters. The odds that it has shut off are pretty low."

"2/19/10 - Missouri's Governor convened a panel of officials in New Madrid who are on the front line of emergency response. From AP/KCStar:

Missouri state geologist Joe Gillman said an earthquake the magnitude of the 1811-12 quakes is expected to happen just once every 500 years. But a moderate quake with a magnitude 6.0 to 6.5 is expected to happen every 90 years, and the last one was in the late 1800s.

“We are due, if not overdue, for a moderate-sized earthquake,” Gillman said. “Such a quake could devastate power lines and underground water and wastewater pipes, and many buildings could crumble.”

Recent seismic activity

We know the earthquakes will be increasing as birth pains. We see evidence of that- starting with the massive 7.0 Haiti quake, then the 8.8 in Chile, and most recently, the 6.1 in Turkey.There have been a total of 10 quakes in the past week that have been 6.0 or greater. There was even one in SOUTHERN SUMATRA, INDONESIA that registered at 6.8 but did not cause damage (the recent Turkey quake was only a magnitude 6.0.).

The three widely reported, destructive quakes occurred within less than a two month period. This does not even include the high magnitude increased seismic activity that is not even being reported-due to the depth or location of occurrence there has been no damage.

No doubt, earthquakes are on the rise just as Jesus warned us would happen:

IF the Obama adminstration continues to "poke God's eye" as they have been doing, then America will be then not only unprotected, but cursed by God:

We need to be repenting for our nation as well as ourselves. Judgment is coming from the just judge.  We cannot not know the day or the hour, but we can know the seaon.

We can tell Springtime is near as we see the blossoming of the trees and flowers and flitting about of the Robins. Accordingly, we can see the season of His return and that the coming Judgment of a God-rejecting, God-ignoring world is near.

We need to pray that we may be counted worthy to escape the wrath to come and to stand before the Son of Man.

21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.


21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
